Enquiries, proposals and client work
Information on the Website about our services, process, timelines and prices is general and may change. Contacting us, submitting the contact form or receiving an estimate does not create a client relationship or any obligation for either of us.
Estimates and proposals are non-binding until both parties sign a written agreement, such as a master services agreement or statement of work. Any client engagement is governed solely by that agreement, which takes precedence over these Terms.
06 / 14
Intellectual property
The Website — including its design, code, text, graphics, animations, the CodeLoom name and logo — is owned by CodeLoom or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to view the Website and share links to it. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or reuse its content or design for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Names, logos and trademarks of clients, partners and technologies that appear on the Website belong to their respective owners and are used to describe our work.

Portfolio and case studies
Our case studies describe work we have designed, built or contributed to. To protect the confidentiality of our clients, some names, visuals, figures and details may be simplified, anonymised or presented as illustrations. Results depend on each project's circumstances and are not a promise of the results of any future engagement.
08 / 14
Third-party links and services
The Website links to third-party websites and services — for example LinkedIn, GitHub, Dribbble, X and the live websites of projects in our portfolio. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers
The Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Content on the Website — including articles, examples and technical descriptions — is for general information only and is not professional, legal or financial advice for your specific situation.
10 / 14
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeLoom and its team members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Website.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Website is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11 / 14
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CodeLoom harmless from claims, losses and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your misuse of the Website or your breach of these Terms.
12 / 14
Changes to the website and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time. We may also update these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13 / 14
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and CodeLoom consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
14 / 14
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and CodeLoom about your use of the Website.
